Our Story
Founded in 2014 by Jerson Morales, Surf Strong started as a way to keep local kids off the street and away from the gangs. Based on the sandy beach of Playa San Blas, Surf Strong has become one of the top surf academies in all of El Salvador. The school is located close to shopping and dining in the Surf City area and is a quick 45 minute drive from the historic downtown San Salvador.

Our Story
Our team is made up of instructors that are ready to take you from beginner to advanced. As our lead instructor, Jerson is ISA certified and is also a lifeguard specific to the ocean and certified by the Civil Protection Ministry of El Salvador. Our instructors customize care to the individual surfer to provide quality instruction and service.

Surf Strong teaches the MAP technica from Brazil. It is a technique that focuses on balance, posture and a three step way to stand up when catching a wave. The technique has been adapted by many professional surfers around the world. The technique gives surfers a stronger core and better balance on the board.
